Mission Statement
The League of Friends supports Edenbridge Hospital. It provides funds, and equipment to pay for those items for which the NHS is unable to pay, including capital works.
Its objectives are:-

• To support the welfare and comfort of patients and staff
• To co-operate with the Local Health Authority so that the highest standards of care and service are provided
• To increase the range and quality of health services, and support them financially.
• To increase the autonomy of the hospital, Matron and staff.
• To increase the operating hours of all departments.
• To expand the hours of the Minor Injuries Unit, and to provide treatment of minor illnesses.
• To enable Consultants to use unoccupied periods of the Outpatients and other departments for extending their range of services
and for private use.
• To research best health services.
• To support the Community Hospital Association, and the Leagues of Friends of other West Kent Community Hospitals.
• To increase the membership and income of the League
• To increase the range of expertise of the trustees and to achieve the succession of trustees.
