The Minor Injuries Unit is manned from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm every day of the week including weekends and bank holidays. It is a walk-in facility and no appointment is required to attend. The Department is staffed by fully qualified Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) who book in, take history, diagnose, treat, discharge and/or, if necessary, refer directly on to the appropriate speciality (e.g. Maxillary Facial Surgeon, ENT, Medics, A&E). |  |
